   I work as a porter in the houskeeping department of a hospital. Recent cutbacks have resulted in more burdens placed on the remaining staff. And so,I found myself covering other areas. One of which,required the cleaning of the lobby windows.

   Given a good flip-back squeegee but no training and twenty-five minutes to clean two dozen 7′x3′windows,I became overwhelmed and stressed out. The only advice from my supervisor was to go back and wipe the streaks.

   When I recieved John Baxter’s”How to Clean Windows Like the Pro’s”,I couln’t put the book down until I read it from cover to cover.The touble shooting section and the ten window cleaning commandments addressed all of the frustrations and problems that tormented me on my first attempts to clean those large windows. After several rereads I couldn’t wait until the next time I got that assignment. Last week I recieved complements from a hospital director for the job I was doing on those windows.

   My only criticism is that suppliers aren’t listed in the appendix: no big deal these days with internet browsers.

   This book and a professional quality squeegee(see page 10)will make you want to clean your neighbor’s windows after you have finished all of yours!

   If it took John Baxter 3 years to write this book, then he spent the first 2 years, 364 days, 11 hours, and 55 minutes doing something else. This book didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know about cleaning windows.

   If you have not used a squeegee to clean your windows before, like me. This book will start you out with the proper technique to get excellent results from day one.
